About the Contributor:

Dr. Cornelia Krug is the chair and coordinator of the World Biodiversity Forum and a Science-Policy Liaison at the URPP Global Change and Biodiversity, University of Zurich. She is also the Executive Officer of the bioDISCOVERY Global Research Programme of Future Earth. Holding a doctorate in Zoology, she worked extensively on the impacts of environmental change on ecological communities in a variety of ecosystems and habitats, and now works at the science-policy interface, facilitating the synthesis and catalysis of policy-relevant biodiversity and ecosystem research.
